Orders shipping to the US mainland are still free shipping and Duty-Free. To avoid high tariffs, the forwarder companies ship bulk packages to their warehouse in the US and pay tariffs in bulk. Then the local UPS/FedEx service will pick up your package from their warehouse and deliver it to your door, so you don't need to pay any import tariffs when receiving the package.
 ​(For other countries, except the US, shipping is free, but you will need to pay import duties when you receive the package.)
